Judith Babcock Wylie is a travel writer, editor, newspaper columnist and writing instructor who has been writing travel stories and essays full-time for 20 years. Her work has appeared in:

She has also given workshops on travel writing at the annual conference of Creative Non Fiction at Goddard College, at the California Writer's Club annual East of Eden Writer's Conference and other venues. She also speaks on how travel can change your life and how to make a "career veer" into work you are passionate about.
She is the recipient of the Big Island Hawaii Journalism Award 1995 and Malaysia Travel Writer of the Year (UK) given by the Malaysian Tourism Board.
Judy lives on an organic apple farm in Santa Cruz, California, and writes in a rebuilt cabin overlooking the ocean.
